MetalForming Inc., which rapidly has risen to prominence as a North American leader in metal building and architectural sheet metal technology, recently broke ground on a new 17,000-sq. ft. headquarters, distribution center and showroom in Peachtree City. The facility, scheduled to open this fall, will be the focal point for MetalForming's full line of advanced European metal folding machines and roofing construction accessories, and will be state of the art, according to a company news release. CEO Geoff Stone and MetalForming staff were joined by officials from German product manufacturers Schechtl, Schlebach and Stubai for the ceremony at South Park International, the area's premier industrial park. MetalForming also exclusively markets long folders from Swiss-based JORNS, the leader in its metal folding category. The new MetalForming headquarters, naturally to be a predominantly metal structure, is being built by MaWal Construction of Fayetteville. Approximately 8,000 square feet will be dedicated to distribution; 4,000 square feet will be used for machinery display and demonstration, and the remaining 5,000 square feet will serve as corporate office space. Tate Godfrey, Pathway Communities director of industrial sales, said MetalForming is a perfect fit for Peachtree City. The company's presence will certainly benefit our community in many ways, including providing terrific job opportunities. Godfrey continues, In return, MetalForming will enjoy a terrific living and working environment and the opportunity to thrive in one of the nation's great business environments.
