As the days start feeling more like spring, art lovers know that one of the great rites of the season is just around the corner. The Newnan-Coweta Art Association's ninth annual Spring Arts and Crafts show is set for April 15 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m at the Courthouse Square in Newnan. The show features oil paintings, watercolors and acrylics, along with jewelry, crafts and pottery. Other items at the show include home accessories, small furniture, prints and wearables. Admission to the show is free and cash awards and ribbons will be awarded in several categories. In conjunction with the art show, the Newnan-Coweta Historical Society is sponsoring a tour of homes. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 on the days of the event. The tour runs on April 15 and 16. For information on the art show, call Silvia Feenaghty at 770-487-1005.
