Police handle

Police
reports indicate unusual happenings at a couple
of Fayetteville fast-food establishments over the
weekend.
A
man was found going on foot down Ga. Highway 85
just after 2 a.m. Friday and was later identified
as the same man who broke the glass on the front
door at Dunkin Donuts just on the northwest
corner of the Fayetteville square. He was under
the influence and naked from the waist down when
apprehended, reports stated.
Guy
Edward Stinchcomb, 39, of Fayetteville was
charged with criminal trespass and pedestrian
under the influence.
In
an unrelated incident, an altercation at the
Kentucky Fried Chicken at Banks Crossing Sunday
evening led to an employee being fired and
assaulting a customer.
According
to reports, Darecus Smith of Jonesboro was fired
after cursing a customer at the drive-through
window. He then got in his car, pulled alongside
the customer and got out with a tire iron in his
hand, beating on the window and car with his
fist.
Smith
left the scene before police arrived, but was
later arrested for aggravated assault.

Mercury Marquis Saturday morning at Hwy. 85 and
Pavilion Parkway after the car was weaving with a
cracked windshield. The car was confirmed stolen,
and a handgun was found under the driver's seat.
The
driver, Shane Douglas Smith, 29, of Riverdale,
was arrested for theft by receiving, carrying a
concealed weapon and driving with a suspended
license.
” A home in Fayetteville
reported a burglary Saturday morning. Reports
indicated that three black males entered a house
on Heritage Lake Drive and took some furniture
while changing the lock cylinders on all of the
deadbolt locks.
