Police reports indicate unusual happenings at a couple of Fayetteville fast-food establishments over the weekend.

A man was found going on foot down Ga. Highway 85 just after 2 a.m. Friday and was later identified as the same man who broke the glass on the front door at Dunkin Donuts just on the northwest corner of the Fayetteville square. He was under the influence and naked from the waist down when apprehended, reports stated.

Guy Edward Stinchcomb, 39, of Fayetteville was charged with criminal trespass and pedestrian under the influence.

In an unrelated incident, an altercation at the Kentucky Fried Chicken at Banks Crossing Sunday evening led to an employee being fired and assaulting a customer.

According to reports, Darecus Smith of Jonesboro was fired after cursing a customer at the drive-through window. He then got in his car, pulled alongside the customer and got out with a tire iron in his hand, beating on the window and car with his fist.

Smith left the scene before police arrived, but was later arrested for aggravated assault.

Police stopped a maroon 1997 Mercury Marquis Saturday morning at Hwy. 85 and Pavilion Parkway after the car was weaving with a cracked windshield. The car was confirmed stolen, and a handgun was found under the driver's seat.

The driver, Shane Douglas Smith, 29, of Riverdale, was arrested for theft by receiving, carrying a concealed weapon and driving with a suspended license.

A home in Fayetteville reported a burglary Saturday morning. Reports indicated that three black males entered a house on Heritage Lake Drive and took some furniture while changing the lock cylinders on all of the deadbolt locks.
