Three juveniles were arrested last week for detonating a homemade bomb on a local golf course. According to reports, the incident took place Mar. 5 at about 6 p.m. on the seventh hole of the Flat Creek Golf Club, causing more than $500 damage to the green. Charges stemming from the incident include possession of a destructive device, conspiracy to possess a destructive device and criminal damage. The suspects were released to the custody of their parents. In an unrelated incident, a Peachtree City teen was taken into custody Mar. 10 for firing a BB gun on a cart path behind the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater. Aaron Fitzwater, 17, faces charges of discharging a weapon and having an improperly registered golf cart. Other recent arrests by the Peachtree City Police Department include the following: Darrance L. Williams, 17, of Peachtree City Mar. 12 for obstruction and loitering or prowling. James V. Sherman, 17, of Peachtree City Mar. 11 for crminal trespass and giving false information to a peace officer. Ignacio C. Dominguez, 22, of Norcross Mar. 11 for no insurance, driving without a license and speeding. Katrina M. Green, 30, of Senoia Mar. 10 on an outstanding warrant for fraud out of Spalding County. Derrick M. Young, 28, of College Park Mar. 8 on an outstanding warrant for probation violation out of Peachtree City. Virginia S. Pierson, 39, of Newnan Mar. 7 for forgery in the first degree. Danny R. Dunlap, 18, of Molena Mar. 9 on an outstanding warrant for probation violation out of Peachtree City. Jesse J. Cook, 55, of Newnan Mar. 8 on an outstanding warrant for forgery out of Newnan. Michael C. Smallwood, 20, of Jonesboro Mar. 7 for minor in possession of alcohol and violation of park hours. Andrea L. Quick, 17, of Peachtree City Mar. 7 for minor in possession of alcohol and violation of park hours. Salvador M. Rodriguez, 25, of Peachtree City Mar. 7 for driving under the influence, open container, driving without a license and disregarding a stop sign. David D. Murphy, 45, of Newnan Mar. 7 on an outstanding warrant for contempt of court out of Peachtree City. A juvenile, 16, of Peachtree City Mar. 6 for driving without a license, unlawful use of a license plate and expired tag. Police are investigating two criminal damage incidents, one at a swimming pool on Doc Run and the other to a bulldozer parked on Line Creek.
