Peachtree City residents anxiously awaiting opening of Harris Teeter will have to wait another week.

That's the word from a company spokesman who said the company is working on last-minute details in finishing the store.

The store was originally set to open March 15 and Peachtree City residents received applications late last month for the Very Important Customer cards that provide extra discounts at the store.

The store is in the old A & P store in the Peachtree Crossings Shopping Center and store officials are sure the store will open March 22.
