Underage partygoers busted by police

Police in Peachtree City say they found a party full of juveniles in a single residence engaged in underage drinking after a call from a neighbor over the weekend.

According to reports, police were contacted Feb. 26 about a loud party on Dartmouth Trace. Upon arrival, they arrested 10 juveniles, ages 15-16, and charged them with minor in possession. All were from Peachtree City.

Other recent arrests by the Peachtree City Police Department include the following:

Derrick Carter, 31, of Fairburn Feb. 27 for driving under the influence, driving without a license and failure to maintain lane.

Darrell C. Elsemore, 50, of Chillocothe, Ohio Feb. 27 for DUI and driving on the wrong side of the roadway.

Michael K. Davis, 57, of Peachtree City Feb. 26 for simple battery.

Jesus Martinez, 17, of Peachtree City Feb. 26 for minor in possession of alcohol.

John M. Wagnon, 18, of Peachtree City Feb. 26 for minor in possession of alcohol.

Reginald Wimbush, 32, of Griffin Feb. 25 for no insurance, driving on a suspended license and an expired tag.

Douglas D. Why, 25, of Peachtree City Feb. 25 for DUI and failure to maintain lane.

Henrietta H. Dyer, 42, of Palmetto Feb. 24 for driving on a suspended license, no insurance and obstruction of an officer.

Ansley M. Wingo, 20, of Newnan Feb. 22 for no insurance and operating a vehicle without a valid tag.

A juvenile, 14, of Peachtree City Feb. 22 with runaway, possession of a Schedule II drug and minor in possession of alcohol.

Eric D. Woodruff, 32, of Newnan Feb. 21 for no insurance and headlight violation.

Kenneth B. Stamps, 18, of Peachtree City Feb. 20 for minor in possession of alcohol.

Aaron L. Housley, 19, of Peachtree City Feb. 20 for minor in possession of alcohol.

Jeremy W. Duncan, 19, of Peachtree City Feb. 20 for DUI, minor in possession of alcohol and improper lane change.

Ongoing police investigations include:

Burglary — an unknown person or persons entered a business on Westpark Court and removed several computer items.

Burglary — an unknown person or persons entered a residence on Ridgelake Drive and removed several pieces of jewelry.

Theft — an unknown person or persons removed a boys BMX bike from a residence on Long Leaf Drive.
