A
Smyrna man faces weapons charges after an
incident on a Fayetteville highway last week.
According
to police reports, Kimara Nicholas Jennings, 27,
was arrested Feb. 22 for pointing a pistol at
another and possession of a firearm by a
convicted felon. He allegedly pointed his weapon
at Todd Hallman while in his car at Ga. highways
85 and 314.
In
an unrelated incident, a Fayetteville man was
arrested Feb. 22 after a physical altercation
with a juvenile. Phillip Craig Lamonde, 39, was
charged with simple battery after an
investigation showed that he was the primary
aggressor, reports indicated. The victim's mother
also expressed to police a desire to press
charges.
Two
unrelated traffic stops in Fayetteville last week
led to drug arrests. Nicola Michael Roman, 20, of
Rex was pulled over Feb. 23 at Hwy. 85 and
Pavilion Parkway for failure to use his signal
and a seatbelt violation. He also faces a charge
of marijuana possession.
Larry
Keith Hurley, 35, of Jonesboro is also charged
with marijuana possession and a seatbelt
violation after his arrest Feb. 22 at Hwy. 85 and
Banks Road.
