Residents who have been waiting for their chance to weigh in on the second phase of the massive retail complex planned for Ga. Highway 54 West — the proposed Wal-Mart supercenter — will get their first crack at it Monday night.

A workshop is scheduled for 6 p.m. at City Hall, just before the regular Peachtree City Planning Commission meeting, to discuss that project alone.

The first phase of the site, the Home Depot plan, was approved by the City Council in December after the developers appealed the Planning Commission's recommendation for denial.

The Wal-Mart plan is not on the regular Planning Commission agenda Monday night, and nothing about it will be voted on.

Items on the regular agenda for Monday night include:

A landscape plan for the Simms office/ warehouse on Fulton Court.

A landscape plan for the First Union Bank in the Kedron Village retail center.

A landscape plan for the 500 Westpark Drive office building.

A conceptual site plan for the Frenchy office building on Petrol Point.

A proposed permanent name for the Line Creek collector road, also known as Line Creek Parkway.

In other development news:

City staff is reviewing the revised final site plan for the Royal Learning Center on Commerce Drive North.

Staff has approved the final site plans for the Barrow retail center on Ga. Highway 74 at Wisdom Road, the Metal Forming Inc. project on Southpark Drive at International Drive, and Building I of The Avenue at City Circle.

Landscape plans for the Leach fire station on Paschal Drive are now under review.

Revised preliminary plats for the Holly Springs subdivision on Ga. Highway 74 South and Phase 1 of the Cedarcroft subdivision on Line Creek Parkway are under review.

The final plat for the Camden Hill subdivision on Ebenezer Road is under review.

A revised final site plan is expected soon for the Wendy's restaurant in Kedron Village.
