Technical school questions to be answered Monday

The Coweta County School System, in partnership with Carroll Technical Institute, will open the Central Educational Center Aug. 10.

This unique charter school will provide local high school students the opportunity to complete course work which will count simultaneously toward high school graduation, Carroll Tech certification, and traditional college credit.

Parents and students who want to know more about the Central Educational Center are invited to an informational meeting at each local high school. Parents and students can attend any meeting, even at a high school other than the one which the student attends.

The dates for the meetings are as follows:

Monday, Feb. 28, East Coweta High School, 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 29, Newnan High School, 7:30 p.m.

Monday, March 6, Northgate High School, 7:30 p.m.

A panel of educators from the school system and Carroll Tech will provide information and answer questions regarding the CEC.
