Sheriff Randall Johnson and his Traffic Enforcement Division were honored Feb. 14 by the Governor's Office of Highway Safety for their efforts in promoting child passenger safety.

A ceremony was conducted on the steps of the Capitol in downtown Atlanta. Gov. Roy Barnes was called away to south Georgia to inspect the extensive tornado damage of that weekend, so Lt. Gov. Mark Taylor made the presentation.
