Kicks 101.5 FM, Moby in the Morning, and LifeSouth Community Blood Centers are teaming up to let our community know that giving blood is a good thing to do during the “Yeah baby” blood drive promotion Monday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at J&R Clothing Inc., 8875 Ga. Highway 85 in Fayetteville.

“There is so much good to be accomplished by giving blood. Blood donors will have blood available for them should they, God forbid, ever need it,” Moby said. “Lives will be saved and we can walk away feeling as though we have done something vitally important because, in truth, we have.”

Barabara Spears, director of LifeSouth's Atlanta Blood Center, said, “We are absolutely thrilled that Kicks 101.5 FM and Moby are helping share the message that giving blood is fun, and most importantly that donors are vitally needed in our community.”

All donors receive a commemorative t-shirt and a cholesterol screening as a “thank you” for giving. Donors must be at least 17 years of age, weigh at least 103 pounds and show a valid photo ID.
