The charter for Fayette's newest political party was signed last week, and officers of the local party are as follows: William Norris, chairman; Danny Lucsko, vice chairman; Lee Hunt, secretary; Greg Dorn, treasurer.

The party has will have its first meeting at the Heritage Bank, 440 N. Jeff Davis Pkwy., March 2 at 7 p.m.

“The first meeting March 2 will be a great kick-off for the newly formed chapter,” said Norris. “My goal for this meeting is to get people fired up about freedom and to let them know that there is a party out there that still believes you know how to run your life better than any elected official.”
