Engineering and design work for the proposed Kedron multipurpose rink and pavilion can now proceed after City Council approval of Roy Ashley and Associates to do the job.

The company has excellent credentials and references throughout the state, according to leisure services director Randy Gaddo, and worked on a similar project in Alpharetta recently.

Roy Ashley and Associates was also the low bidder for the job, at $33,350. The entire rink project is budgeted at about $500,000 over two years, Gaddo said.
