A
hearing has been set for later this month in
Fayette County Superior Court to consider a
petition that a forger's probation be revoked.
Ricky
Lee Massey is currently serving five years
probation for three counts of first-degree
forgery as well as habitual violator, false name,
and traffic charges.
His
probation is what is known as
intensive, meaning that he has a
curfew and other restrictions attached.
The
petition, filed by the probation office, alleges
that Massey has been arrested for additional
crimes since his sentence last August and has
also violated his curfew, a spokesperson for the
district attorney's office said.
This
hearing was to have been conducted last week, but
it was continued until Feb. 24.
Also
continued to that date was a bond forfeiture
hearing in an unrelated case involving Michael
David Haney, who faces charges of first-degree
forgery and giving a false name and date of
birth.
Bond
forfeiture hearings also were scheduled last week
for three other defendants. One was dismissed and
the other two were found to already be in
custody.
