Information offered on hazardous chemicals

If you want to know more about dangerous chemicals stored at local water plants, tomorrow night is the time to find out.

Local government and private water producers will have a joint public hearing at 7 p.m. at Fayetteville City Hall to present information on the types and quantities of chemicals being stored, and to explain the plans in place to keep them safe.

Water systems in Peachtree City, Fayetteville and Fayette County will participate, along with representatives of PhotoCircuits in Peachtree City. Representatives of Fayette's Hazardous Materials Team will be present, along with someone from the state Environmental Protection Division.
