John D. Sours, Georgia state chairman for the McCain 2000 Steering Committee, will address the Veterans for McCain for President from Fayette and surrounding counties next week.

The meeting will be Friday, Jan. 28, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. in the community room at Heritage Bank in Fayetteville.

Sours will discuss McCain's positions on issues and answer questions, and will seek to enlist veteran support for McCain.

Sours served as chairman of the Fulton County Republican Party and the 5th District Republican Executive Committee. He is a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a former member of the Georgia Army National Guard.

Dick Hall, vice chairman for veterans affairs of the McCain steering committee, also will address the group and be available to answer questions. He is a U.S. Air Force Academy graduate and Air Force Vietnam veteran.

Veterans who support McCain as well as those who are just curious are invited.
