Associates hit the meeting circuit

Two representatives from Parks & Mottola Realtors in Newnan recently attended educational programs and seminars.

Blake Smith attended a RELO regional meeting in Atlanta.

RELO is the largest network of independent real estate firms around the nation and sponsored the educational program.

The one-and-a-half day meeting featured top-rate speakers, educational workshops, brainstorming sessions and networking opportunities for members of RELO.

Smith has been Parks & Mottola's full-time relocation director since May, 1998.

“It's rewarding to help families with the sometimes overwhelming task of relocating. Making their experience easier allows for a smooth transition to their new location,” Smith said.

Parks & Mottola assistant broker Sam Bowers attended the REALTORS Land institute National Meeting in Orlando.

A member of RLI since 1997, Bowers participated in educational sessions, business meetings and a national marketing session.

As a member of the communications committee, Bowers worked on setting objectives for this year. The committee addressed numerous topics including brainstorming promotional ideas for RLI and its members and developing a new membership brochure.

Bowers' experience offers Parks & Mottola clients the opportunity to utilize his experience in all aspects of land transactions: selling, buying and developing land for others.
