The Dec. 27 meeting of the Peachtree City Planning Commission was cancelled due to its proximity to the Christmas holidays. The next regularly scheduled meeting is Monday. Jan. 10, at 7 p.m. First on the agenda, the ongoing discussion concerning intersection improvements at Holly Grove Church Road and Robinson Road resumes with a public hearing. The commission is scheduled to consider the conceptual site plan for The Avenue, Building I, at City Circle, as well as a revised conceptual site plan for the AMLI apartments at Kedron Drive and Ga. Highway 74. Meanwhile, city staff are busy with a number of projects on tap for consideration at future meetings. Those include: Reviewing the revised site plan for the relocation of Eckerd drug store across Ga. Highway 54 next to Ruby Tuesday. Reviewing final site plans for Royal Learning Center on Commerce Place, Metal Forming Inc. on International Drive, Wendy's at Kedron Village, and the Sellmer warehouse addition on Dividend Drive. Reviewing the revised preliminary plat for the first phase of the Cedarcroft subdivision on Line Creek Parkway. Reviewing the revised final plat for the Camden Hill subdivision on Ebenezer Road. Reviewing construction plans for the Flat Creek Crossing subdivision's Astoria Lane extension. Staff have forwarded review comments and anticipate revised plans for the following developments: Conceptual site plans for BellSouth building addition on Petrol Point and Olson Tire on Ga. 54 West; Final site plan for the Line Creek Apartments on Line Creek Parkway. Staff approved the final plat for phase six of the Smokerise Estates subdivision, which will add six lots to the Kedron service area. Staff also approved the revised plat for phase three of the Blueberry Hill subdivision. In response to requests from the Planning Commission, staff is continuing to work on the following issues: Site stabilization and landscaping at McIntosh High School. Georgia Power substation landscaping on Ga. 74. Water and Sewerage Authority replacement of landscaping on Ga. 74. Refinement of tree removal process on residential property.
